Hello bridge community, I’m pleased to announce that Justine and I got married at French Beach Provincial Park on what turned out to be a lovely Fall day on Saturday September 17th.  Despite complications arising from her gall bladder surgery resulting in a hospital stay that lasted till the day before the wedding, everything went off without a hitch (except for us).  Justine is feeling much better now and recovering well.

The two of us would like to thank the bridge community in general for their support and amazing gift which Marc Furnemont kindly presented us at the wedding.  Our friends very invaluable in making our wedding happen and things came together at the last minute and a good time was had by all. We will be delaying out trip till the first couple weeks of December and the money will go a long way towards giving us the vacation that we need.  We are excited to be going to Disneyland in Los Angeles as Justine has never been and it’s been a long time since I’ve been as well.

Since Justine is off work recovering, you might see her stopping by the club and she looks forward to seeing you all.  We have a preliminary photo released by our photographers but expect me to bring a photo album in about a month after the photos are all edited and delivered to us.

Words can not describe how thankful we are for your gifts and support in these tough times.  Below is a picture of the wedding party taken at the Prestige Hotel in Sooke.
