Club Policies

  1. Like every ACBL club, we respect the zero tolerance  policy.  This initiative encourages new players to take up duplicate and makes the game more enjoyable for current players by encouraging good sportsmanship and common courtesy.
  2. We do not show results on the bridgemates as doing so speeds up the game and reduces bad sportsmanship in the form of gloating.  Not showing results also cuts down on the discussion of hands after the board is through meaning that other tables are less likely to hear the results of a previous board.
  3. Score corrections can be submitted up to 24 hours past the game with the consent of the opponents.  Scoring corrections should be submitted by email to info@islandbridgeclub.com.
  4. Final game results will now be posted by pair number instead of rank, the standard format for most clubs and tournaments.
